What are we all about?
Young Adult Ministries is a new ministry team that began as a result of the 2003 Northern Illinois District Convention. Our focus is to reach out to young adults betweeen the ages of 18-25 with weekly email devotions written by Rev Dr. Gerald Schalk, pastor at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Barrington, IL. Young Adult Ministries also organizes events during college breaks. We want to introduce ourselves and encourage you to look forward to our future events.

What are the upcoming YAM events?
Summer will be here before you know it! Young Adult Ministries is busy planning our upcoming events. We’re having four mini golf trips throughout the Northern Illinois, and ending the summer with a trip to Great America in August. Check out our dates and places for mini golf, pick an event in your area, and mark your calendar. No registration is required for mini golf; just email NIDYAM@ni.lcms.org with which date you plan to attend and bring $5. We hope to see you there!
